Ping!

The printer materialises a new job description. Swiftly, the brief is grabbed and the team huddle around an animated freshly lit fire. The birth of an idea is commencing; our spiritual ritual.

Keep it brief?

The brief is simple: A logo to embody a brand’s image

However, the process is a lot more complicated than that. The job brief is printed on 100% cotton rag paper laced with exotic aromatic leaves from the freshest organic herbal plants, locally sourced, of course. The border, you may wonder, is firmly cemented in gold leaf.

It’s our passion

The job is no longer; it has been replaced with purpose - meaning. Work is replaced with passion. The design brief is gently placed on top of a pure white silk pillow, surrounded by lush greenery - a makeshift garden in the office. Spiritual energy builds up around the room booming throughout the sun-lit street. Onlookers passing by freeze in awe at the process, eyes glued on the product to be.

All attention is on the roaring, spitting fire as its ashes begin to materialise into something more than just burnt remains. It is now time for the final ingredient. The silk pillow is gently picked up and placed on top of a hand-carved wooden platter and served gently into the fire’s hungry flames. Glowing light dances on the walls, flickering around the team’s creation-to-be. Incense burns in the background, softly falling to the ground as it burns and filling the air with a complex aroma of floral and vanilla notes. The fire, having completed its life-long aspiration, pulls down it’s raised flames - offering up what is left covered in ash.

The creation

The team, now huddled closely around the final creation, gently lift up the silk pillow - untouched by the heat or force of the fire - with a final logo design imbued onto the surface of the pillow. It is gently moved across the dimly lit room and chaperoned via Uber Lux to the Manawatu River. The team, needing only to complete one more act before their purpose has been achieved, place the pillow gently on the surface of the river with a freshly cut bouquet to pair. The buoyant material softly floats onwards to find our client. When the team arrives back at the office the ashes of the fire are cleaned up and composted to reuse the magical residue left over for our organic indoor garden. The lights are illuminated once more, and another client has been satisfied - until the next job, the team waits patiently.
